美西華人學會頒發2026年度華裔應屆高中畢業生獎學金

美西華人學會自成立以來，每一年在學會理事和社會各界熱心人士慷慨捐贈下，持續鼓勵優秀華裔學生，並贈予即將進入大學的華裔學生獎學金。獎學金召集人徐永泰博士、學會理事長劉榮文、會長李世平、前理事長林錫智、前會長何興華及多位理事歷年來均率先慷慨捐贈獎學金，今年亦籌募到兩萬多元，均由學會理事和社區人士捐贈。  

美西華人學會獎學金頒獎典禮將在2026年6月5日 (週五) 中午11:00am-2:00pm於San Gabriel Country Club舉行（411 East Las Tunas Drive, San Gabriel, CA 91776. The entrance is on East Hermosa Drive).
本次獎學金獲獎者名單、畢業高中及即將進入的頂尖大學名單如下:

  1. Simon Zhang: Downtown Magnets High School, will attend UC Berkeley 
  2. Elise Chen: Walnut High School, will attend John Hopkins University 
  3. Amanda Qin: Walnut High School, will attend UC Berkeley 
  4. Jadon Long: Da Vinci Science High School, will attend California Institute of Technology 
  5. Cynthia Liu: Diamond Bar High School, will attend John Hopkins University
  6. Serena Guo: Arcadia High School, will attend New York University. She is the 2026 Rose Queen 
  7. Jerry Yang: North Hollywood High School, will attend Stanford University. He is the student board trustee of Los Angeles Unified School District

七位均為華裔優秀學生，在美西華人學會獎學金召集人徐永泰博士率先捐贈獎學金，並組成獎學金評選委員會委員李世平、劉榮文、廖茂俊經過評分，擇優選出7名獲獎者。
