紐約市法庭近日審理一宗航班暴力案件：32歲演藝「明星」Leanna Perry在一班西南航空（Southwest Airlines）航班上，疑因醉酒對另一名乘客Livia Rombola施暴。案發於6月16日，登機期間，Perry在對Rombola毆打並辱罵，事發影片網上瘋傳。

Perry在皇后區刑事法庭（Queens County Criminal Court）出庭時，穿著價值1,700元的Prada戰鬥靴，手持1,000元Vivienne Westwood手袋，神態輕鬆。她已對多項指控表示不認罪，檢方仍在考慮是否要求她接受情緒管理或酒精濫用輔導。Perry須於下月再次出庭。
Rombola對西南航空提起訴訟，指責航空公司採取「自由選座政策」，未能及時阻止Perry登機，即使其明顯醉酒。該政策允許乘客先到先選座，Rombola認為此制度直接導致了這宗在機場登機口發生的肢體衝突。
